How to delete the information the WhatsApp giveaway bot keeps about you.
Automatic deletion
Most information is deleted without you doing anything:
- A request and its details (name, items, location, second phone number) are deleted 30 days after the request closes.
- A draft that was never sent is deleted after 24 hours.
- Records of messages sent to you are deleted after 45 days.
Requesting immediate deletion
- Email dctech.co.il@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request".
- Include the WhatsApp phone number you used with the bot.
- To confirm the request is really yours, we may ask you to confirm by WhatsApp from the same number.
We will delete all information linked to the number within 30 days and confirm by email. If you have an open request it will be cancelled, and the ambassador who accepted it (if any) will be told it was cancelled. Copies in technical backups expire on their own within 35 days.
Ambassadors
An ambassador who wants to stop and have their details deleted can contact the admin who added them, or email the same address. Removing an ambassador moves the requests they hold to other ambassadors.
